Hike Laguna 69
The Laguna 69, located at 4600m/15,092ft. lies just at the flank of The Pisco and Chacraraju Mountain. This is one of the most beautiful aqua colored glacial lakes in the Cordillera Blanca mountain range. Considered by most Guides as one of the most impressive scenic day hikes in the Huascaran Nationa Park. It is truly a very unique and special place. On clear days you can look straight through its deep blue color waters, there is an incredible waterfall dropping right into the far end of the lake that makes amazing scenery to enjoy.
This hike rated as medium to hard , because of the altitude and challenging hiking effort at the last section just before to reach the lake, combines and scenic mountain view of the main peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, beautiful colored lakes, reach vegetation and magnificent water falls dropping down along the valley.
