Hike Laguna Mullaca 2026
Two lakes located in Cordillera Blanca; close to Huaraz; its a strategic point to enjoy views of Cordillera Blanca and the valley of Callejon de Huaylas.
The landscape and the views of the Callejon de Huaylas Valley, make this route one of the most special in the Cordillera Blanca; then hiking from Laguna Radian to Laguna Mullaca will make your adventure a much more special complement.
It only requires that the traveler is well acclimatized and ready to walk on a rough path (long way) and in some parts the streams do not have bridges and therefore you have to cross over rocks.

Program details
Itinerario:
Huaraz – Village of Chavin – Laguna Radian – hiking to Laguna Mullaca
Duration: 3 hours go/back (by car) – 8 hours about (hiking)
- We will depart from Huaraz by vehicle to the northeast until the village called Chavin, and then we will continue for about 30 minutes by car until the start point to hike.
- Then we will walk along a route that little by little turns uphill, firstly we will reach the Laguna Radian, which is not so deep and what stands out most is the landscape of mountains around it.
- After a short break and take some pictures, we will continue through a path parallel to a Pre-Inca water channel, passing through Quenuales forests
- The we continue a zigzagging ascent with waterfalls and streams to the Laguna Mullaca, also we will visit another third lake known as Carhuac by the local people.
- From here we will get a spectacular view of the landscape around it, for example the glacial mountain of Vallunaraju and the great valley of the Callejón de Huaylas.
- Return fro the same way until aur transport.

Hotels, bus before/after trek?
We can also organize transfers, hotels in Huaraz or other cities, packages in the rest of the country etc. If you would prefer more services, from the airport in Lima for example or a complete Peru travel package, please let us know.
How many minimum days in advance should I reserve?
You can book up to 2 days before the tour, but if you want to join a group you must request at least 10 to 15 days in advance at least to be able to plan ahead and join a group.

SECOND: We require a payment of 50% per person. You can make your payment by VISA/Mastercard/Dinners or another cards (payment link).
