Hike Laguna Uruscocha 2026
Lagunas Uruscocha at 4650m, are two beautiful turquoise lakes located in the gorge known as Urus north-east of Huaraz at the height of the valley of Ishinca and villages of Collon and Pashpa. This hike offers an spectacular views of the south side of Huascaran, Hualcán Copa and Urus mountains peaks.

Itinerario:
Huaraz – Pashpa village – hiking to Lake Uruscocha – back to Huaraz
Duration: 2 hours go/back (by car) 6 – 7 hours (hiking)
- We will drive to the north up until Pashpa village where ir the start point to hike.
- At the beginning we walk on the same path that takes up to Ishinca valley then make a traverse to the left, continue walking over trail used by the local people passing through a lot of vegetation of quenual forest
- As we gain altitude on the back groung the is great view of the valley down at the east the Cordillera Negra and in the North and South side the Cordillera Blanca.
- This quiet and peaceful hike less crowded because is not a well-known route just few people do this alternative hike.
- After hiking for about 3 hours you get the first Urus lake, beautiful green lake surrounded by a lots of quenual trees, have break take some photos, then continue ascending to the second lake, is your chose where you prefer to have lucnh at the first or second lake.
- We spent time relaxing walking around also if you like fishing you can take fhish line with you, because these lake are filled of trout.

We can also organize transfers, hotels in Huaraz or other cities, packages in the rest of the country etc. If you would prefer more services, from the airport in Lima for example or a complete Peru travel package, please let us know.
How to book the full day?
FIRST: To make a booking, please email us to check availability and receive customized booking form.
All clients will need to fill out a passenger details form. Please be ready with the following information (FROM EACH PARTICIPANT in your group). We need the following information:
- Personal information (Full name, exactly as on your passport):
- Gender and passport number
- Nationality and date of birth.
SECOND: We require a deposit of 50% per person. You can make your payment by VISA/Mastercard/Dinners or another cards (payment link) or Wester Union (request our data).
